Principle

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no external fonts, scripts or images. All content is embedded directly in the page. Simply visiting the site therefore transmits no data to third parties other than the hosting provider.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, the provider processes technically necessary access data:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and URL of the retrieved file
• volume of data transferred and confirmation of successful retrieval
• browser type and operating system
• the previously visited page (referrer), where applicable

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and functional operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not evaluated for advertising purposes.

Data transfer to the USA

As Netlify is based in the USA, processing may take place outside the European Union. According to its own statements, Netlify bases such transfers on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses and on certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Further information: netlify.com/privacy.

Contact by email

If you contact me by email, I process the data you provide (name, email address, content of your message) solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries relating to the initiation of a contract. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

External links

This site links to external services, including LinkedIn and pages of Acapela Group. These links are only followed when you click them; no connection is established automatically in the background. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies to any data processing on the linked sites.

Encryption

This site is delivered exclusively over an encrypted TLS connection (HTTPS).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• erasure (Art. 17)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• data portability (Art. 20)
